first check thank you speech

So, you know that not so small Blogher advertisement box on the right? I FINALLY received my first check. It took a year to make, wait, here it comes, $26 and some change.

I would like to thank first my devoted 15 readers. Without you, I may have never received a check until I was living in a retirement home.

Second, I thank Blogger for free hosting.

Third, I thank Noggin, for distracting my child so that I can write something every once in awhile.

Finally, I am thankful for selling out and being one of many who receive a check no matter how small. Because I now know how much my writing is worth. Not much, but more than zero.
